Excellent move, many people don’t want or know how to upgrade their browser, they are concerned that doing so will break things, etc., so doing it this way will benefit users worldwide.
I personally don’t use IE and suggest to all my clients, friends and family to switch to Firefox or Chrome, but changing habits can be difficult for some.
On the other hand, it is unfortunate that corporate users will not see the change right away. Administrators have a difficult job dealing with other things, so upgrading the browser might not be a priority, especially not knowing what things will break in the process.
But fixing a problem creates solutions and those solutions will create new problems, is all part of life!!
